I suppose we're torn between hating that Sonny Gray gave up a lead-off home run in the sixth inning and being relieved that he's not going to lose 1-0 on an earned-run mental-error. Gray has located that "out" pitch, elusive for much of the last two months; he has struck out twelve Angels in his six innings of work. But as par for the course of A's, their offense hasn't shown up (yet?!) and they are down 2-0. Let's hope to see this week's A's, and they come roaring back. LET'S GO OAK-LAND!
